“ I went this evening to buy nasi and bami....I live in Queens for decades and couldn't find my famous surinamese dish so someone told me there's a place on liberty 128th street anyhow I found the place and I would say the food taste really good idk about the bad reviews on here but it has to be people that dont know or never had surinamese food before.....this is the only spot that have surinamese food that I know of and I really happy I found this spot....I wish they would use regular rice instead of the basmati rice tho not too much of my liking but overall they got my five star and I get to eat back home food after a decades I'll be a regular customer and I appreciate the service and for some of you saying 30mins wait and so yall should call and order then pick up instead of going there and wait for me I rather wait cause I know my food is getting prepared the way I expected it and it wasn't rush like the other restaurant that would forget to put add hot sauce or even spoon overall thank you guys ”
“ This is a perfect low-key spot for any time of day in Queens. The food had such a wonderfully balanced mix of spices and savoriness. They play good music that’s not too loud so no matter what you’re doing it just adds a little extra ambiance & mood. It’s very well decorated inside, with chargers at every table for convenience. The staff is amazing, friendly, and courteous. They’re very down to earth with the customers and treat you like a regular whether it’s your 1st or 100th time there. Kamala, the owner, is so sweet, nice, and personable. She personally makes sure your experience is a 10/10. This is a wonderful establishment, and when you go, you’ll definitely want to be back soon. ”
“ I recently visited PNK Suriname Cuisine The service was great. The food was delicious. It reminded me of Suriname food I have missed the way it was made, the food was very delicious, owner was very polite and helpful. I would go back there again five stars. ”
“ The food was A1 and I’m a Surinamese who has eaten at every Warung across Suriname and there Bami and Bakabana is on point and full of flavor! Haven’t tried other dishes as yet but will update soon. There are a few bad reviews complaints about pricing and certain things don’t seem up to par. Don’t hesitate to try this spot it’s good food freshly cooked and for the price it’s worth it as you cannot get these dishes anywhere else in the State of New York. So don’t be selfish or negative keep your thoughts to yourself and leave a friendly review! The owner of this establishment is extremely kind as well! Catch me going here on my free time to catch a vibe. ”
